Graduating Senior Scholarship Application

Eligibility

Applicants for awards must be a female graduating high school seniors from the Escambia County School District and/or incoming college freshmen for the 2025-26 school year. They must be continuing her education at an accredited 2-year or 4-year college/university in the United States. She must be enrolling in undergraduate courses and have the minimum G.P.A. requirement is a 2.5 out of a 4.0 scale. Recipient(s) will be selected out of personal need, academic and personal merit, as well as shown involvement in their respective community.

Application Procedure and Time Period

A student who is a graduating senior through the Escambia County school system can complete the scholarship application form at https://forms.gle/mxsRYsfdnq8DyUTJ6. Student must provide required information, provide required documents, and submit form to the Epsilon Rho Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Application deadline is March 22, 2025.

Once the Epsilon Rho Sigma Scholarship Committee has concluded the application process and selected the scholarship recipient(s) for the upcoming academic year, all applicants will be notified of the outcome via email. Selected receipts will be notified in April.

Terms of Disbursement

The recipient must show proof of acceptance and enrollment into selected college/university. The disbursement date will be indicated by the presiding committee. Awards will be disbursed no later than December 31, 2025 to the institution of each scholar.
